"I'll only ask you to put it on if I need Chris the Green Lantern. Right now I need just Chris. Besides, you don't know how to use it yet. Would you ask me to use a gun when I lack the training?"

She quirks a sad smile. "Just tell me what you need of me. I'll do my best to help. I have the training to do a great deal. All will be well, Chris."

She's still sad looking but there is a sudden seriousness to her and an inner strength showing through.
